The self-proclaimed "Principality of Sealand" today opened what it claims is the first ever national online casino.
The Sealand Casino is located on a decommissioned military fort six miles off the east coast of Great Britain. The self-proclaimed world’s smallest state claims to operate under its own sovereign jurisdiction.
Sealandcasino.com’s opening coincides with the 'state's' upcoming 40th year anniversary on 2 September.
The Principality of Sealand proclaims its own constitution and has adopted its own national flag, anthem and stamps, as well as gold and silver coins denoting the Sealand Dollar.
To commemorate the national casino opening, the Principality of Sealand is offering to match 100 per cent of all first deposits or provide new players with a £100 sign-up bonus.
"The Royal Family of Sealand’s high regard for the loyalty of its subjects is extended towards all Sealand Casino users, with players gaining Loyalty Points each time they place a bet. These can then be redeemed for credits in the casino or cashed out as required. Tax-free winnings will be privately transferred in any currency to any account in the world," Sealand said in a statement.

The Principality of Sealand wishes to give notice that it has not licenced nor does it intend to licence at this time an on-line casino and that the report suggesting one has been licenced and is operating here has no basis.

With the cancelling of the Super Casino in the UK by Gordon Brown, perhaps we can now look to Sealand to offer us hope in that direction.

The Real Deal!
Greetings, I'm a Military Guard and Marine Engineer that currently works and inhabits Sealand. This thread is to correct the mis-information that this site, sealandnews.com, provides to the public about this wonderfull country.
You know me only by my first name, matt, an this is the REAL DEAL!
The New "SealandCasino" is not a legit Casino of Sealand. Infact at present their are no Sealand Casino's online or otherwise, though plans for one are upon the horizon for the near future.
The Sealand Radio Station will not be known as Sealand FreeRadio or any other names that have been descibed by sealandnews and other sites. It will be known as Sealand Streamers iRadio. The radio station is in the development stage and is nearing it's first broadcast!
No other parties other than churchandeast and Sealand Streamers are involved in the station itself!
Seland a Rehab center?? Now thats aload of bull in itself!
The "Sealander Tv Show" never existed, especially concerning the likes of "Tycoon Entertainment". SealandStreamers, who will be running the radio station SS iRadio, also have plans of an online tv station of sorts in the near future.
