HP is offering a new on-site service for companies looking to integrate new IT technologies.
The company has rolled out a new IT services programme under the name HP Integration Services. The new offerings will allow companies to contract the installation and deployment for systems ranging from telephony to virtualised blade deployments.
The new services will be offered in the form of 10 "modelled solution" packages that cover areas including cloud computing, datacentre migration and branch office technology overhauls.
Each of the services packages elements of HP's consulting, IT management and on-site services into a single programme tailored to a specific integration or migration area. By offering the specialised programmes, HP hopes that it can offer businesses an easy and efficient way to adopt new IT systems which could otherwise require massive overhauls to install.
"To cope with the growing number of migration, consolidation, virtualisation and relocation projects, technology resources are tied up managing integration requirements," said Ellen Breen, vice president for datacentre services at HP.
"HP Integration Services is a unique, solution-based offering that allows customers to focus on solving their business problems while HP handles the increasingly complex responsibilities of integration."
The company said that the new programme would be available worldwide. No specifics on pricing were given, as the company noted that costs would depend on each project's specific requirements.
