Online payments provider PayPoint.net today launched an online software package designed to provide small businesses with all the tools they need to set up an internet store and begin trading.
The new eCom Shop offering provides shopping cart, web hosting, payment and all the other functionality that firms taking their first steps online need to set up an online store, said PayPoint.net.
There are three packages available, all of which can be set up within 72 hours: eCom Lite is for the startup and small business; eCom Professional for the growing business that needs to process a greater number of transactions; and eCom Fast Track is a "complete solution for small businesses" including an Internet Merchant Account.
All packages use online shop building software from Tiger Commerce, enabling firms without a dedicated IT department to create fully customisable online stores, the vendor said.
“ECom Shop is the ideal e-commerce web site solution for startups and growing online businesses because it is easy to use and has all the features necessary to market successfully online," said PayPoint.net managing director Michael Norton.
"With the introduction of this product, customers can be involved in the design of their site only to the extent that they want to be."
