Dial 007 for Sony Ericsson

When Bond, James Bond, makes calls in the new 007 movie Quantum of Solace, he will be talking into a Sony Ericsson Titanium C902 Cyber-shot phone.

Cashing in on the mother of all product-placement opportunities, Sony Ericsson is releasing a limited edition of the phone which includes a spy game, movie trailers, interviews with the cast and Bond-themed screensavers and wallpapers.

Now wannabe secret agents can make calls, download encrypted emails from M, surf Q's website and navigate their way to Vauxhall Bridge all from the top deck of the number 19 bus.

While a civilian might use the phone's five-mega-pixel camera to take embarrassing pictures of their friends for posting on Facebook, Bond will use it to take pictures of threats to national security and send them back to MI6 for analysis. But both will be aided by the same face-recognition software and Best Pic, a feature which provides nine simultaneous shots, which is all standard equipment, not Q's enhancement.

The phone comes with enough built-in memory to store 160 full-resolution photos.

Quantum of Solace, the 22nd 007 movie, will be released in November. Sony Ericsson has equipped Bond with his phone for the previous two movies.
