Online collaboration firm Huddle has brought its cloud-based project management, document sharing and collaboration services to the BlackBerry market with the launch of a dedicated application for users of the popular business smartphone.
The Huddle BlackBerry application features document sharing, project tasks, discussions and whiteboards functionality, as well as giving users a complete view of their personalised dashboard.
The native app allows users to share information and connect with colleagues, customers and suppliers, letting them work as effectively on the go as they can from the office, according to Huddle.
"Due to advances in technology, we're really starting to see a shift in the way people work," said Huddle co-founder Andy McLoughlin.
"With the latest hardware, software and high-speed connectivity, people are waking up to the fact that they can access the information they need, from wherever they are located."
The BlackBerry app is optimised for BlackBerry Pearl (8100-8230), Curve (8300-8900), Bold (9000-9700), Storm/Storm2 (9500-9550) and Tour (9630-9650) on BlackBerry OS 4.5 or higher.
Huddle has already released offerings for iPhone and iPad users.
