Linux administrators will be having a busy week after Red Hat, Novell SuSE and Mandrakesoft all released operating system patches.
The Secunia security website published details of three Red Hat flaws, two for Mandrake and a single SuSE vulnerability. Some of the flaws were rated as 'highly critical'.
The IT security firm warned that some of the vulnerabilities could allow compromised machines to be taken over and used in denial of service or spamming attacks.
The flaws have all been patched and users should visit their respective operating system websites without delay.
