Two eBay bids for a house once lived in by chart-topping rapper Eminem have been written off for being too high.
According to the The Detroit News the home's current owner, Darren Martens, rejected the bids because he believed an Eminem frenzy on eBay got out of hand.
The top bid for the house in Detroit was $99.9m (£63.5m) and the other $20.1 (£12.8m).
Martens said he never took the highest bid seriously and had written off the second highest as "outlandish".
Eminem sold the 5,000-square-foot colonial home in 2000 for only £305,000 because he was fed up with fans stealing his mailbox.
Martens said he believes bidders with about $2.5m (£1.6m) to spend have a sincere interest in taking the home off his hands.
He said he put Eminem's house on eBay "more or less for a joke" after seeing publicity about a boyhood home of the star that so far has fetched a high bid of $11m (£7m) on the eBay site.
Do you agree?
