Samsung has unveiled two laptops and a netbook aimed squarely at business professionals.
The company said that the models have been designed specifically to operate in a secure business environment.
The P80 Premium series laptops have 14in or 15in screens, and feature an Intel Core i5 processor, a single-click docking station and a 320GB hard drive. Both have a matte finish plus integrated microphone and webcam for video conferencing, and support for Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR connectivity.
The 14in or 15in P30 Essential Series laptops, meanwhile, have a scratch resistant chassis, Intel's Core i3 processors, a 250GB hard drive and a touted 4.5 hour life on a six-cell battery.
Finally, the NB30 Pro netbook has been designed for "rugged durability" and is enhanced for business users with Windows 7 Professional.
The model has a free-fall sensor to protect the hard drive, and the keyboard is water resistant if up to 50cc is spilled on it. Samsung claimed that this makes it a good choice for business travellers.
"Samsung designed these product lines with the practicality and performance needs of the business user in mind," said Todd Bouman, a director of product marketing at Samsung Electronics.
"The options provided by the Premium, Essential and netbook lines cater for all professional environments."
The P80 will be on sale for £686, the P30 series will be available for £583 and the NB30 Pro will cost £356. All models will be available in late May through Samsung resellers.
