Whats Up is an electronic version of the word-lover's favourite puzzle, Scrabble.
It is faithful to the original board game in all manners but one - unlike Scrabble, Whats Up allows you to stack letters on top of each other, up to a maximum of five high.
This adds, literally, a whole new dimension to the game. Should another level be added, the topmost character takes preference; this can lead to a little confusion at first, but it soon becomes clear.
Up to four players can participate at a time, in any combination of computer and human. Choose to play against computer opponents and there are 125 different skill levels to choose from.
As befits a computer version of Scrabble, an Anagram Generator is included to instantly compile a list of possible words from your letter selection. This does take away the element of skill though.
The dictionary can be continuously updated, allowing you to alter the rules and allow slang or foreign words, for instance.
