This is the software publisher's description.
Over the years the Ashampoo programmers have turned the program into a full suite that can handle all your data, audio and video burning and authoring tasks, without sacrificing its famous ease of use. In version 10 they have once again added a wealth of new features and modules, but the program is still amazingly intuitive to use – everything is explained as you do it.
The main focus of this premium version is even better authoring capabilities for building video and audio discs using the latest formats. HD and Full HD video (720p and 1080p) are now fully supported for Blu-ray discs, and all the encoding is handled by Ashampoo Burning Studio 10. All the authoring tools have been overhauled and the video encoding quality is even better than before. You now use the same new integrated editor for building DVD and Blu-ray video disks with menus. The program also starts more quickly and is generally snappier to use.
In addition to this there is a new Autoplay Editor module with which you can build auto-starting data discs with attractive interactive menus – for example for collections of programs. And there is now also a new Audio Player with which you can play audio files and audio CDs without leaving the program.
Do you agree?
Speed limitation on DVD creation
Nice programme generally, but serious limitation is that creating a slideshow DVD, even with a limited number of decent definition photos (JPegs) slows the computer to a crawl and makes the process on my system unusable in my lifetime! (Pentium 4 2600, reasonable NVidia graphics card, though a few years old)

Yikes
Upon download, you must be watchful as when you open this ware, you get the "ask" problem. It will sneak in the 'ask' home page and search bar. I was careful and still had the ask search bar added taking up screen real estate. Not happy with that. Could not rid of it-e mailed support-they gave instructions that did not work in 7, Most of the Ashampoo software has this issue. You must e mail them for the license key , another obnoxious set back, and when it wiped out, it would not accept the old license key that was now supposed to be in my special folder on the Ashampoo site even with cut and paste. I have read at other sites this is a problem in general-to many hoops to go through for this pretty good software save for the Ask nonsense. Also be very carefull with the System Optimizer. Not only does the same stuff as above, it takes over your machine with home page change and Ask bloat ware. Very bad issues with Ashampoo.
