System Suite 8 comprises of over 60 tools to help maintain and protect your PC. From anti-spam, anti-virus and firewall to a file shredder, system optimiser and a spyware remover, pretty much everything needed from a security suite. It can identify and block malicious websites, and it also provides defence against hackers and spammers.
You can prevent malicious emails from ever reaching your PC with the anti-spam control tool which works with all major email programs including Hotmail, Outlook and more recover files lost accidentally using the disaster recovery tool, fix Windows during system start-up, and diagnose your hardware.
As well as the extensive set of security tools, it also enables anyone using the suite to optimise and enhance their PCs performance with the built in disk defragmenter and disk cleaner.

Unsafe tools for your system
Before going any further, I should state I've been a big supporter of this program and fix-it utilities ever since their win98 days. Version 8 has made me do a complete 180 and tell people not to buy it.
I had to remove this program after some major issues with it.
First, the program keeps throwing up pop ups over the tool tray that interfere with games. These pop-ups are USELESS. One of them just keeps telling you that Avanquest firewall is monitoring your internet connection. It's basically a pop up ad!
Second, the disk file checking utility is just a front end for chkdsk, I wound up having to use a freeware program to find and fix the issue I was having.
Using system recovery instead of Windows system restore, made WinXp fail to boot.
Their uninstaller in older versions used to monitor installations. This has been dropped with the later versions, It's barely more than a front end for Add/Remove programs.
On one issue I submitted a support request 3 times and NEVER got a reply back. When Vcom had this program customer support was excellent.
After reinstalling windows because of the problems with system recovery, I found freeware programs that replaced the functionality of this program and do a better job.
