There are various ways of upgrading your computer. You don’t necessarily need to go out and buy a new machine, there are cheaper options. If you only have 1GB of system memory, considering doubling this to 2GB. If you have a small hard drive, why not purchase a larger drive? The new drive is almost certain to be faster and more efficient than the old hard drive, primarily as they have a limited life span.
Problem is that new hard drives either ship pre-configured with multiple partitions, with the manufacturer thinking they know how you need your drive, or with no partition at all. Once you format your drive, you need to configure it for your computer. A partition for Windows is a cert and another for your data is likely. You might want a partition for your media.
Formatting a drive is easy in Windows, partitioning is more difficult. If you just want to create a simply partition or re-size existing partitions, you may not require expensive professional-level partitioning software, so the brand new Paragon Partition Manager 10 Express. This free software is designed for home users who just want to create or re-size existing partitions.
Paragon Partition Manager 10 Express doesn’t contain much more functionality, although it does ship with recovery disc builder, so you can fix your machine if you experience problems partitioning a drive.
If you want to do more than create a new partition or resize existing partitions, you’ll need to step up to Paragon Partition Manager 10 Personal, which will delete or copy partitions, migrate drive contents to a new drive, perform a simple drive backup, enable you to create a multi-boot system (for multiple OS use) and much more. You can upgrade within Express for only $39.95.
Do you agree?
I don't get it ?!
"This free software is designed for home users who just want to create or re-size existing partitions." - one can do this quite easily from within Windows (XP & above), without installing a 200Mb program.
I've a fairly quick 14Mbps broadband connection, & apparently it's going to take me almost 2 hours to download, on account of your super-slow servers!
A similar fully-featured program (Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.5 SE), which can do a lot more, is almost 10 times smaller in size & can be downloaded from your site: http://www.vnunet.com/vnunet/downloads/2229498/paragon-hard-disk-manager-se
VNU, surely you have lost the plot with this one!!
Thanks for the other helpful programs though :-)

Vista 64?
Downloaded from your news email and installed it up to the point where I got a message that this 32-bit program could not run on 64 bit computers. Is there another free version that will run on 64 bit computers?

This is not very good!
I just downloaded and ran it in my newly re-done machine.I re-booted as required and now it shows a "no operating system" on a black screen. I have no idea what to do at this point! In the past Paragon programs have been totally reliable, and that is why I chose to use this one! Live and learn!!

paragon partion manager problems
I have not tried nr 10 but I tried 9 and 9.5. And : beware ! on 2 pc´s where I made new partitions I got problems ! The problems were that the partitions was not the exact size and this caused that there were made tiny unallocated spaces (100-200 kB) between the partitions and Paragon could not see or correct that (really BAD) !! I had to borrow a professionel repair program to correct. I have used easyus, (absolutely no problems ) to make the partitions afterwords and this program is simply the best. Maybe the errors are corrected in nr 10 I do not know but I do not think so. The problem with Paragon is that it is so huge and looks nice and (and is free) so one thinks "wow, that must be a great program".
have a nice day from jens, Denmark
