RSI-Shield is a program which monitors your time and activity on the computer in order to protect you from developing repetitive strain injuries. It collects information about your postural habits and the ergonomics of your equipment to decide how often you need to take breaks.
After a certain amount of time the program locks your keyboard and mouse so you are forced to take a rest. During this time the system offers you stretching exercises to carry out to further make sure you are not at risk of developing an RSI.
RSI-Shield also stores various statistics about your working habits such as the overall distance you have moved your mouse and how often you take a natural break from working. If new versions of the shield are available you will get the opportunity to download them whenever you log on and you can also record Macro's.
