I need help, i got the sims 2 recently, an it claimed i had to download directX 9.oc, i done so, but wen u click start, then click run, u type in dxdiag in the box that appears it should tell u all the details about your directx but when i look its ment to say directX 9.0c but still seems to say directX 9.0b its realy doing my head in now please help thanx

My SIMS 2 isn't working
I just got my favorite gaame Sims2 and it told me to download directx 9.0c and when I downloaded it it still said me that it dosn't works. PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE someone help me!! I adore this game especially Sims2 Universty. Please someone help me!!!!!

my sims doesn't work can you help me.it says failed to find directx9.0c compatible graphics adapter in this system!please make sure you have a direct 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drives provided by the manufacturer.The application will now terminate.

I know youv'e heard this but ive had the sims fur awhile like a year but i just got a new computer and i downloaded my sims 2 game on it and then when i clicked it to play it it said "failed to start need directx9.0" or sumthing like that and then i downloaded all these different direct x's but it STILL not working.Pleae help me im getting real frusterated..my sn for aol is LuverGrl531 pleae I.M if u no what to do,thanks

Keeps freezing!
I got Sims 2 the other day, downloaded it and I play it but, whenever I click to make a family or something or enter a house with a family it freezes, and I have to turn of my laptop off and back on again! it's really annoying because it keeps lagging and freezing. I downloaded DirectX 9.0c and I read the manual about how to start it but I can't find DirectX on my computer. And I don't have an Anti-Crash thing either. Someone send me the right link 'cause I think I downloaded one that doesn't work!
