Quake III Final Release (Linux)

This is the final update to be released for Quake III, and includes some useful improvements to help increase your enjoyment of what has proved to be a phenomenally successful game.

The main features to be updated are as follows:

• New id created Pro Maps, to replace the original maps that shipped with Quake III.
• New Network Code - Reduces bandwidth usage of Quake III and Team Arena.
• New Weapon Effects - Rail, rocket launcher, plasma gun, lightning gun effects all improved.
• Cheating Code Measure - New code added to make the game more difficult to hack and to prevent cheating.
