This is a software program that can take any digital image (in bmp format) and turn it into an electronic version of one of those children's sliding puzzles.
Several images are provide to start you off, but you can use any image you like as the basis for a puzzle, as long as it is in bmp format.
You can create puzzles of any size between 3 x 3 and 20 x 20 squares.
Along with creating static puzzles, Screen Scrambler can create animated versions. The contents of each puzzle square are constantly moving, thus making it much harder to solve the puzzle.
These animated puzzles are created automatically from any selected image, with no input required from you.
If you get stuck on a puzzle you can get the computer to make the next correct move for you; or, if you're really impatient, the entire puzzle can be auto-completed.
