In theory, you can configure your computer to get the most from your Internet connection, depending on the type of connection. There are many tweaking and network optimisation tools that will enable you to analyse the connection and then automatically improve your current configuration.
The problem is that if you’re a laptop user, you may move between office, home and working from remote locations. In the office, your choice of network may be through ethernet, whilst working remotely, you may have to rely on a slower 3G card. At home you may use a WiFi network. You can’t possibly re-configure your PC to get the most from the different network, if you’re always on the move.
The solution is a network connection manager designed to understand and analyse the current network and re-configure your settings and applications to get the most from the network. It will always remember your previous configuration, so if you’ve setup your PC to connect to a particular network, the Avanquest Connection Manager will enable you to connect again, without having to remember your login info.
Avanquest Connection Manager can even re-configure your installed applications based on the network. If you’re connected to a slower 3G network, with limited bandwidth, you may not want to show your browser homepage, each time want to browse the web. You may want to stop your email client from downloading large email attachments.
When you connect to a different network, it’s as simple as selecting a different profile configuration from within the Avanquest Connection Manager.
Do you agree?
Love it
I use the program on my laptop. It makes it so easy to connect to the Internet at home. Before this, the last thing I wanted to do was hook up my laptop to my home network. I am not very technical so making any changes was a pain. This application lets me connect and sets up my printer. I am so happy it is free!!!

Alert
Hi, I just read about Avanquest Connection Manager 2.04 (ACM), I liked the idea, so I just installed ACM.
During install, my Comodo Internet Security (CIS) pops up with virus name: Backdoor.Win32.Popwin.~IS@42641854 when installing:
BVRP36b3.rra.
I quarantined the file. When quarantined ACM says "following error accured on the file"C:\Program Files\Avanquest
Connection Manager\BVRPMPR5.sys", Access i denied(0x5)
I aborted the installation, and ran the installation again. this time the file had a new name:
BVRPa3fa.rra.
I quarantined the file again. When quarantined ACM says "following error accured on the file"C:\Program Files\Avanquest
Connection Manager\BVRPMPR5.sys", Access i denied(0x5).
I aborted the installation, and ran the installation again. this time the file had a new name:
BVRP88e5.rra
I quarantined the file again. When quarantined ACM says "following error accured on the file"C:\Program Files\Avanquest
Connection Manager\BVRPMPR5.sys", Access i denied(0x5).
All the time it was the same virus name: Backdoor.Win32.Popwin.~IS@42641854
So aparently it tries to disguise itself by a random filename.
Now I installed and ignorred the "virus". installed fine.
When running the program, Peerguardian alerted me, that it keeps on trying to connect to 217.195.25.252 every 3-6
seconds.
Acording to Nirsoft IPNetInfo its an address in Boulogne in France.
so I decided to uninstall ACM.
when uninstalling my Comodo pops up and alert with the message"trying to execute shellcode as a result of a possible
buffer overflow attack" in Explorer.
And Also, It destroyed my VirtualBox internetsettings.
So in my book I am NOT going to trust this software.
Check it out and make your own judgement.
