RoboForm2Go is the portable version of the RoboForm software and lets you securely store all your passwords and login details on a USB key for use on any PC, anywhere, anytime.
It can be used to generate passwords, store form information for later auto-completion and create identities for more general form filling. It can also be used as a portable bookmarks manager.
By default it works with Internet Explorer, adding a toolbar for quick access to all its functions. A free plug-in is available that makes it compatible with Mozilla Firefox.
Visit a site with a login box and, when you log in, RoboForm2Go will prompt you to save these details. Next time you want to visit this site, use the RoboForm2Go toolbar to select the relevant login and RoboForm2Go will load the web site and auto-complete the login procedure.
All data is encrypted using DES and if you set a master password the likelihood of anybody accessing your details is fairly remote.
When using RoboForm2Go on a public PC all evidence of RoboForm2Go is removed for complete security.
It isn't the easiest software to get to grips with, but once you've grasped the basics the rest comes easy.
Do you agree?
Very Bad
Pass2Go has made my Internet Explorer useless by constantly trying to load its toolbar, causing my screen to move up and down at least once every second. And I can find no way to remove it. What can I do??????

nothing easier no problems
will direct you to site and log you in in one click, an excellent tool so you dont need to keep all those cookies.also generates random passwords using letters and numbers up to 13 digits long for you.saves auto so dont need to mess about.
good luck to the owner of comment "passwords from memory"
if he/ she uses the same password for each site.....hmmmm
my passwords are now all different and look something like Lk6t5G9A5tt?V

The most useful program I have
Memory? When I have around 170 different passwords to remember? Roboform does it for me, I've been using it for several years, they fix bugs FAST and I wouldn't be without it. Roboform2Go in conjunction with PortableFirefox and I have a complete browser on a USB stick with all my passwords secure behind a single, secure password. Would I rather remember one or 170? What do YOU think?
UI issues are all amenable to tweaks -- the toolbar can be top, bottom, or nonexistent, contrary to previous reviewer's comment -- and uninstalling straightforward -- why you'd want to is beyond me, but Roboform2Go is, by its nature, simply uninstalled by exiting and deleting its files and folders, and Roboform full has the same uninstallation process as anything else.
I can't recommend it highly enough. And no, they haven't paid me to say so!

great program but...
The 2go version costs $10 more than the Pro version. And the 10-logins limit for the free version is BS. If they're going to inflate the price, they should at least give the standard 30-days unlimited usage. That's what they did recently did with the Pro version.

Great Software/Bad Company
I love Roboform software. However, after selling it for years with the promise of free upgrades, the company that manufactures Roboform recently decided to charge loyal customers for it a second time. The backlash is considerable, and in my opinion the result is a questionable future for the company, which has put almost all of its eggs in the Roboform basket.
Look elsewhere for reliable software from a trustworthy company.
