TV star Robert Urich, best known as the detective hero in Spenser forlen computers, by launching the CyberAngel security system. Hire, has turned his hand to real-life computer crime busting.

Urich and partner Dr Dyrk Halstead have launched a computer security system, called CyberAngel, to combat laptop theft in the UK. The idea was developed after Urich's son had his laptop stolen.

CyberAngel software will telephone a central headquarters in the event of any unauthorised use of a computer. As soon as any thief plugs a stolen computer into a telephone line, CyberAngel will call to hand over the thief's telephone number.
