Steven Alton, professional services director at BT Lynx, said: “We provide organisations with telephony and unified communications solutions, to help them do what they do best. As a Microsoft specialist, our customers are assured they are hiring a qualified partner.”

To qualify for the Microsoft Unified Communications Competency Voice specialisation, partners must complete a testing and technical readiness programme, including staffing requirements and internal deployment of Microsoft unified communications.

Eric Swift, senior director of product management at unified communications group Microsoft, said: “Microsoft partners achieving the Voice specialisation are experts at integrating VoIP, unified messaging and conferencing with Microsoft unified communications technologies.

“The Microsoft Partner Programme and Voice specialisation provides partners with technical, marketing, networking and sales resources necessary to drive stronger, more profitable business results for customers.”
