Now don’t get us wrong, we love the summer, and the fact that it has been trying to sneak its way into our lives this month is a welcome intrusion.
No were not talking about clothes- they can easily be sorted
with a quick click on ASOS at your desk - not that we do that or anything Mr
Boss- we are just talking about a friend of a friend…. Ahem.
Being gullable we tried to buy it – for home use of course – only to be told it was a trick.
Oh dear, it’s nearly as bad as finding out that Santa isn’t real.
What do Tom
Cruise in Top gun and Danny Zuko in Grease both have in common?
Techbotiquettes, a word of warning - this jacket won't turn your lovable laptop into a leather clad hunk. However, it will protect it from the bumps and bruises of everyday life - as long as it isn’t
bigger than 15” (Goodness even jackets want small people.)
The bruise control lies in the protection - the Soho range features a multi-layered design that consists of a durable outer layer, a reinforced padded centre and a plush inner lining – oh er missus.
All three features then work together, like a group of burly bodyguards, to encase the laptop and keep it safe from the dangers of everyday life. Hmm - perhaps Prince Will’s should replace his entourage with one of these now that he is newly single.

Come on admit it, we all like a bit of bling – well we wouldn’t be girls if we didn’t like a bit of sparkle now and again, and whilst diamonds are a rich girl’s best friend, Swarvoski crystals are ours.
So imagine our glee when we stumbled across a newly launched site that encrusts a range of gadgets in these little gems.
Yes, yes we know, there are hundreds of companies exploiting our little buddies and doing the same thing but what makes The Crystal Chick so different is the fact that all items can be personalised to suit your tastes so you can be as bling or as subtle as you like.
Now we are usually quite calm but we nearly had to be escorted out of the building whilst on this site - jumping chimpanzees are clearly not allowed in the Techboutique office.
The site is like a treasure chest. As well as the standard encrusted earphones it also contains other treasures such as jewel encrusted mini mice (keep your eyes peeled for a review later on this month) and iPod Nano covers with Swarovski cartoon characters – oh dear someone hide our credit cards now.

Good news girls! You no longer need to brave the snobby assistants in Bond Street or the tempting food hall in Harrods to get your hands on Prada.
In fact all you have to do is downgrade to upgrade because the LG Prada phone is now available across high street mobile phone shops such as Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U.
Yep that’s right, designer at uh, highstreet stores. But before you get excited there is of course a catch, because like any designer trinket worth having there is a waiting list - if you still don't know why this phone is the sparkle of everyones eye we suggest you read up sharpish. We can’t currently tell you how long it is but for a phone such as this we can imagine you might be waiting for a while, oh well you know what they say about good things coming to those who wait….. Well it’s always kept us calm in the MacDonald’s drive through queues.
Techboutiquette’s we have to apologise for neglecting you the past week, we tried to escape to Mexico with the Lin and Leo lapbag but we got caught.
But fear not, we are back safe and sound now, coincidently with news about another funky laptop bag.
The side of the bag has two small padded pockets, perfect for holding CDs, DVDs or other smaller items - that'll be our lippy then. And for those of us who like to keep the whole contents of our make up bag on us there is also a handy zipped mesh area on the iniside too - genius.
Hmm we see trouble ahead, because this bag is quickly becoming one of our favourites and we all know what happens when this is the case - yep, you better start raising some bail money for us.
For those who do not fancy running accross Mexico, the bag is priced at £35 and available from Laptop Stuff.
Fashionistas get the T-shirts and kids get the coloured wrist bands, but we gadget girls have definitely got the best deal when it comes to helping raise money for breast cancer.
The Si750 wireless pink mouse has been produced in support of the Breast Cancer Campaign, with 10 per cent of its sale price going to the charity.
Yes we know its pink and goes against all our beliefs, but this mouse is definitely something we can write about without feeling dirty.
As well as the profits going to an excellent cause, it seems that this mouse has more brains and stamina than Jerry - as in Tom and ….. for those who have not yet woken up. Well being pink it must be a girl so that kind of explains the brains part but the technology also helps;
Not only has it been designed to give up to six months of battery life but it has also been built with laser wireless technology that makes it easier to control – hmm wonder if technology can be used on other halves too.
Still not convinced? Well how about if we told you that this little rodent has also been sculpted especially to fit around our dainty girly hands. Yep sorry boys you read right, this mouse is specially for the ladies - no matter how many manicures you have your hands will never be as small and dainty to play with this pink gem.

We have written about the wild and wacky TV designs from HANNSpree a couple of times, but its new design really is the apple of our eye.
Yes - if you haven’t already guessed by the terrible pun –
the newest addition to the family is shaped like an apple, hence its rather
creative name HANNSapple.
Instead they have gone all out and created a red
television casing complete with rubber shaped leaves
and a brown rubber stem.

We were extremely pleased when the Gods at Laptopstuff answered our prayers and kindly donated a green 15” lapBag to us – well for the week anyway.
Unlike guys who post their pictures on the internet, the lapBag
is even more gorgeous in real life than it is in its pictures, and resembles
the kind of designer bag we would beg steal and borrow to get our hands on.
Although we previously grumbled about the pricetag,
the dual purpose of the bag does indeed make it good value for money - as it doubles
up as spacious weekend bag. However if you are taking it overseas we recommend
you use it as hand language – no, not because it won’t withstand the pulling a
shoving from the airline men, but because you never know who may be lurking to
swipe it off the baggage carousel….
