LG has updated it's U880 clamshell 3G phone, and says it has improved the handset's music capabilities, keypad and screen.
Although the U890's camera resolution is unchanged, it now takes sharper pictures as well, LG said. Like most phone cameras, its quality is good enough for quick snaps that you'd email to friends.
The U890 can c reate playlists to make it easier to find your fave tunes when out and about - and you don't need to open the clamshell to get to them.
You can listen to music on Bluetooth headphones, if you have a pair, which gives the added advantage of no more wires. But watch out for the Bluetooth headsets though - some of them will leave you looking pretty dorky.
Being 3G, it means you can have video chats over the the 3 network, plus the phone is pretty light and although available only in silver, you can change the trim colour. And yes, pink is an option.
It's a minor update to the U880, so it's probably not worth signing up for a new contract to the latest handset if you have that phone. And at the moment it's available on pre pay.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Posted by: north face jackets womens 24 Jan 2011

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.

Posted by: north face down jackets mens 24 Jan 2011

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface.
This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

And the whole Tropicana debacle was left off why? Speaking of Tropicana, does the brand new Aol logo remind any person on the rejected Troipcana logo? Personally, I am not a fan with the Aol rebrand. Though the execution and implementation are outstanding, the precise wordmark is dull, uninspired, and just sort of blah. That becoming explained, I agree with many of the other rankings. I'm nonetheless in appreciate with all the metropolis of Melbourne is new id.

The shame of it is always that barely any in the advised applications are implemented. Actually, the City of Melbourne have picked to disregard very much of what we noticed from Landor shortly following the identification was launched. Overall implementation has thus far been really poor and does notlook like acquiring greater anytime quickly.

City of Melbourne is selection 1. The depth of their redesign was wonderful, and its applications throughout all media is both refreshing and practical. I am unsure if AOL meets the same degree of usefulness. Positive, it's a step above the prior layout, but the amount more so? And also to what finish? Effectively, which is my two cents. Peace.

hey all. so i'm an aspiring novice marketer (online, offline, really all venues) and relatively new to the whole social media scene which calls for understanding how social media can be tied into online marketing campaigns. however, i don't have access to a social media marketing tutorial or help site... so i was pondering if it would just be more practical to maybe take a class at a local community college? Thanks!

I am not much of a guy who thinks in so deeply about web design but I think your post had some valid points in it. Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won't die! I agree that Amazon and other some big sites won't have a blog but now a days it's very important to have some sort of option available so people can quickly communicate their thoughts. I think Amazon if wants to shift it to that, they can get a customized CMS for themselves.

(There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

The coach continues to explore different models of Fashion Replica Handbags and offer their customers. Recently, there were pockets Op Art artists. In addition, these models are less expensive than Coach handbags usual. As a result quickly became a success in the retail market. This is interesting, because the bags were first inspired by a Coach bag brown. This just shows that just because something is not thinking as much fashion as most people that they reach no impact on the creative minds of his fashion bags. They are such that it is possible to set.

Thanks for your insight on affiliate marketing. I have a few tips of my own to offer. First, realize this is not an overnight business. It might take a few months after you start for the real income to start flowing in, especially when using whitehat methods such as SEO to bring in traffic. Second, resist the urge to promote every single cool looking offer or brand new product you find. It is better to focus on one product or service at a time, researching and finding everything you can about thet product or service, and throwing everything you can at the promotion of that product. Once promotion of a particular product or service is bringing in steady income for you, then you can consider promoting another product. Third, it is very important that you research and create a business plan before you start, and then always stick with that plan while you work. Affiliate marketing takes work, but if done correctly, everyone can make some money.

Over the years I have purchased various iPods and have accumulated a few USB and firewire power supplies. My "old" first gen iPod Touch could be charged with any of those old USB or firewire power supplies.

However, the second gen iPod Touch cannot be charged with the firewire power supply. You need the USB one. Also, from what I read elsewhere, some older off-brand docking units will not charge the second gen iPod Touch, presumably because they are based on the firewire spec. Playback through these docks still works, though.

The good news is that all of the improvements and overall performance of the second gen iPod Touch far outweigh the minor setback of not being able to charge via firewire. The USB adapter that comes with it works just fine.
