UK mobile phone users can now use Google News, Gmail and a personalised version of the Google homepage on their handsets, as the company continues towards world domination.
We think this is a great new development in terms of searching the web on your phone, as complicated operator-run portals are definitely a factor in why more people don't surf on the go using their mobile.
It remains to be seen as to whether this will encourage more people to use their mobiles in this way, but with Google now on board we can't see why not.
You can launch the services by pointing your mobile's web browser to google.com and then choosing the link to either news or the personalised home.

I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

What I want to know is why I should care? I mean, not to say that what youve got to say isnt important, but I mean, its so generic. Everyones talking about this man. Give us something more, something that we can get behind so we can feel as passionately about it as you do.

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

Posted by: Chanel Necklace 21 Jan 2011

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Posted by: Rosetta stone language 21 Jan 2011

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

It truly is my spelling that was off in various regions and for that, I apologize, but, you understand, if my grammar was anywhere near as horrible as you declare then you??? d have had a really hard time comprehending what I wrote.
Count me as a further man or woman surpr ised that you just did notinclude pepsi around the ??worst??? l ist or even acknowledge their redesign.Other certain comments. The brand new Pfizer logo looks sloppy and careless to me. The blue clearspace about the wordmark is uneven. I just like the notion, however the execution is undesirable. The old 1 is tighter.I do notunderstand what you like greater regarding the new Guitar Hero logo. The adverse room involving the letters can make it just about unachievable to study for me.As for El Banco Deuno, I do notget it by any means. The line breaks appear absolutely jarring to me and remind me of a logo I did for my s ister is line of crafts when I was about 15 (it was the phrase pollywogs??? on two lines, using a hyphen?- ugh).Last but not least, I would love to determine your l ist of Identities which might be in desperate will need of a redesign.
Just heard some outstanding information from Inside Social Video games, who've just reported that Cityville will possibly come out later this month. I was surprised to see this. After hearing nothing from Zynga right after that rumor developed that they were creating this sport (based mostly on a “cityville” forum that was swiftly deleted), I figured that it was just a mistake plus they weren’t creating it. I assumed that if they had been creating the game they'd have produced it public in the beginning. As an alternative, they have only just revealed the new game now, when it's very shut to becoming launched.

If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

to get heard of the fresh Kinect? Its definitely awesome! I never had a whole lot fun playing adventures before, eventhough I would certainly call myself your hardcore player that will usually plays game titles like Call of Duty and stuff like that. The Kinect is so different than anything else I have ever played before. that motion controles function really well, and not just that, but not needing to use a controller to learn is the personification connected with freedom! No irritating button smashing any longer, a single word will do! You should really think about getting any Kinect!.

It's not working with flash yet although It’ll work with Adobe flash when Adobe has made it compatible. Heck, they’re just now releasing Adobe flash player for Android phones. The Operating system do multitask just like iOS. It saves the actual state of the app furtheremore when you open it again, the app wiil be be at the same state. It does not have copy and paste. optimistically Copy and paste was attempted to be changed with smart linking. I hope there will be adding full copy and paste soon.
