Video review: Samsung Lily mobile phone

  • Tweet this

If you read the blog, you'll know how excited we were about Samsung's Lily phone, which has been co designed by Miss Sixty.

We really wanted to like it, but felt it was let down by several things. The white casing looks quite cheap, and this isn't helped on opening it either as the screen and keypad are surrounded by purple.

Things also don't get any better with the interface. It is black, making it off-putting when typing a text. And the psychedelic, child-like rainbow number dial should have been kept in the 1960s.

However, the delicate floral motif at the front of the phone lights up when the phone rings or charges up, which is a nice touch. As is the analogue clock that pops up-in the small window.

We were disappointed by this phone, and the free bottle of Miss Sixty perfume that comes with it wasn't enough to sway our view. We gave it two stars overall.
