Beware Balenciaga, move over Mulberry, we have found a bag that will suit our fashion and gadget needs right down to the ground.
The ‘Lapbag’ looks like the kind of bag that you would expect to see on the shoulders of Lindsay Lohan or Kate Moss but has one tiny differentiation. As well as holding all the usual bits we girls carry about it also has a separate compartment for a laptop and a specially designed cable pocket for mobile phones and CD’s.
And there's more; as the laptop sleeve can be removed, the bag is also perfect for those of us who have the added luxury of taking weekends away although unlike Lindsay and Kate it will probably be more Bognor than Bahamas.
For those of us who don’t, the added space is good enough to add in that spare pair of heels or um any other spare items of clothes – well it’s always good to be prepared.
The LapBag is made from 100% leather and comes in five funky fashionable colours, turquoise, chocolate brown, forest green, plum and pink and comes in two sizes, small holds laptops with a screen size of up to 13” and large up to 15”.
They are available from laptopstuff and priced at £160 and £170 respectively for those who have money to burn - in our case, um, let’s just say we welcome any donations.

Do you agree?

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but following seeing how slim and surpr isingly small and gentle it is, I take into account it to become a fairly distinctive hybrid that combines qualities of each the Touch as well as Nano. It can be very colorful and lovely OLED display screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, however the player itself feels rather a little smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, even though being just a hair thicker.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

Although I just like the AOL design I ca nothelp but criticize the lack of readability. As an unrecognizable new seem that is usually a large deviation from the original, I'd have made the AOL letters in opposition to a distinctive background or by some means emphasize the A slightly far more.

I'm still reflecting above the conflicting points of view, but I am tipped heavily toward yours.

Lindsay Lohan really needs some massive help.

Posted by: Chris King 20 Aug 2010

This might not be quite the place to say this but I do like and admire Lindsay Lohan, she's got good qualities in my opinion, even if she may be a little confused. Go, Lindsay!

Posted by: Suzie K. 19 Aug 2010

Lindsay can be a spoiled little bitch without any talent. Why do you make a real fuss about such a loser? I can see not just much more, everything you study in the final couple of years on she was drunk, parties, drunk driving, drugs, and so forth. Nothing about a new film or any project. Thanks a lot, no one wants this.

Posted by: Antione Wassink 11 Aug 2010

Good insights. I used to be attracted to Lindsay right when she was at her prime but with the recent troubles, I've had it with her. Sad shes going to jail.

Posted by: Video Monitor Jocelyn 21 Jul 2010

Wow, can't believe she is locked up. Maybe if the designers see her in orange? Well, Lindsay could start a new hot pink jumpsuit heels and diamonds dress code!

I never really understood the fuss caused by this woman. Someone pls help me understand.

Posted by: Catherina (Garden Fence) 07 Jul 2010

LOL, lindsay is such a train wreck. She is so sad. I can't decide if I should laugh at her or pray for an intervention for her. Another case of a hollywood star that was eaten up by the limelight. I do hope eventually someone comes to her rescue and she can find the support she needs to regain some bit of dignity.

I love Lindsay! She is really a great actress and I hope all the haters would shut up. But it makes me sad to know that she is a junkie. . She needs several real fancy to get her life in order!
