Techboutiquette’s we have to apologise for neglecting you the past week, we tried to escape to Mexico with the Lin and Leo lapbag but we got caught.
But fear not, we are back safe and sound now, coincidently with news about another funky laptop bag.
The side of the bag has two small padded pockets, perfect for holding CDs, DVDs or other smaller items - that'll be our lippy then. And for those of us who like to keep the whole contents of our make up bag on us there is also a handy zipped mesh area on the iniside too - genius.
Hmm we see trouble ahead, because this bag is quickly becoming one of our favourites and we all know what happens when this is the case - yep, you better start raising some bail money for us.
For those who do not fancy running accross Mexico, the bag is priced at £35 and available from Laptop Stuff.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

AOL at #1? Critically?

Posted by: north face outlets 14 Jan 2011

I think Aol. Really should be each the top as well as the worst from the yr. It is the finest, for the reason that yes, it will likely be seen essentially the most. It also does set a future for that model, quite diverse from their previous as World wide web, Inc. It really is also pretty creative; it's extremely various. It really should be the worst however since the execution is terrible. The notion, having said that is innovative, just sucks. There exists little or no cons istency, and the wordmark bores me.

Great to see the Melbourne identity in the Best of??? taking into consideration the shit-storm of controversy it triggered in Australian layout circles!

Posted by: real ugg boots 13 Jan 2011

It is wonderful to see Melbourne is id so highly pra ised on an worldwide level (even if the work was undertaken ??externally??? ). The shame of it is that barely any of your advised applications have already been applied. The truth is, the City of Melbourne have picked to ignore a lot of what we noticed from Landor shortly following the identity was launched. Overall implementation has to date been really poor and does notlook like finding far better anytime soon.

I believe Aol. Need to be equally the very best and the worst with the year. It is the finest, since yes, it will be noticed probably the most. It also does set a future for that model, very various from their previous as World wide web, Inc. It is also rather resourceful; it really is really unique. It need to be the worst although because the execution is horrible. The idea, on the other hand is resourceful, just sucks. There's little or no cons istency, as well as the wordmark bores me.

Effectively, to not repeat the hating on aol, but th is is probably by far the most d isappointing l ist to date. On both sides. How can El Banco Deuno and aol be on the greatest l ist, and then bash artwork directors club? I really did nothave a problem with that redesign, as well as the collateral was looking pretty beneficial. You understand what must have already been around the l ist for worst logos? New York Philharmonic logo. My hatred of that logo burns in my chest to th is day. The identify with the designer behind that logo is a only explanation for any of its achievement. The perfect l ist the yr is rather mediocre for me.I like Mary Shu is remark about her options for the greatest l ist somewhat better.

Syfy hate it or not it is actually a a quality typeface remedy.. the NYPL logo is nice, and I dig the the new pfizer mark. AOL is left to be witnessed as to if it is the most effective mark. I feel a single or two in the worst marks of your 12 months had been notnearly that unhealthy. I d isagree with Kraft I kinda dig that and msn.

I am sorry, AOL doesn't resinate with me as an identification what so ever. What are they attempting to obtain throughout? What could be the new viewers they're attempting to make? After you look at it, what do you're feeling?I see a hell of quite a bit of unplugged ethernet cables puking across my monitor.I imagine you meant to make use of the exact same description for each the 8 worst plus the amount a person new identification

This is Embarrassing that any of us allow for Extremist Foreign Political Characters on our soil following numerous years of hate towards our nation. The usa should get out of the UN and educate every one of these extremists our thoughts of there stupid ideological background. Qaddafi, Ahmadinejad, Chavez, and numerous others have far to long been made welcome to this particular Sacred and Exceptional land. I only say Enough is enough, Shut our doors to these Hateful Bastards and Say No to the U.N. Get out, your NOT nor have never been made welcome.
