Hmm, we no longer feel so bad about getting drunk and losing our wedding ring down the pipes in the bathroom – we wish we were joking - because it means we can now get ourselves a funky geek wedding ring as a replacement.
Designed by Seattle based metal smith Jana Brevick, the geek
wedding rings are designed from old computer parts, such as male and female
serial connectors, to bind many a happy couple.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass' favor.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

The entire stage of [logo] design isn't to show off??? what you may do. It's not about bells and wh istles. It is that type of pondering that has a lot of present designers applying gradients on just about every layout component as if they'd a thing to perform with v isual communication. The lion drawing does notneed anymore pol ishing. From where I stand, It will be at a point wherever it may possibly ONLY be utilized or d iscarded. For those who consider it requires much more pol ishing ,that it will be too cartoony??? , or that you've styl istic objections together with the option, then maybe you??? re in the improper profession. You??? re complaining about some thing pretty basic to present day graphic style. I have read from a number of the greats to the subject of style and I do believe I have a manage on the topic. It's not your handle, I realize that. What I do notunderstand is your design philosophy. It is popular that you simply believe Nike and Shell are great brands. Maybe you??? re an Global Style zealot who thinks a grid will be the reply to each design dilemma. Maybe that is what you meant by pol ished? Or maybe you??? re into lots of pointless detail on the logo that will turn out to be no ise because it is shrunken down? I do notknow. My grammar is often high-quality, thank you for asking. It truly is my spelling that was off in a number of regions and for that, I apologize, but, you know, if my grammar was anyplace close as horrible as you declare then you??? d have had a really hard time comprehending what I wrote. There could be nothing at all for you to react to. I do notknow about you, but it surely is really hard for me to get angry at gibber ish specifically when I've no thought what it means.

Posted by: get abs 10 Dec 2010

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

Posted by: online games 09 Dec 2010

Sorry for the huge review, but I'm really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it's the right choice for you.

The 3-inch telephone will sell uncloked for just a little additional than $300 and will come with standard Android 1.6 characteristics and Sony Ericsson’s software program enhancements, like an integrated social feed reader and Facebook app. Classed as an entertainment smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 targets price-conscious users trying to find a stylish Android handset that doesn’t necessarily have to run the newest firmware. The custom interface is similar to that of the Xperia X10 mini, which includes customizable corners for one-touch access to your favourite apps.A brief glance at the Xperia X8 shows a compact handset that fits completely inside the palm of the hand. Measuring just 99 x 54 x 15 mm and weighing in at 104 grams, it is narrower and lighter than iPhone 4. And also though it packs a 3-inch display with capacitive touchscreen, it offers the exact same 320×480 pixel resolution like the three.5-inch display on the iPhone 3GS.

Year end tax planning might be just a little tougher this year because the status from the Bush tax cuts and also the federal tax brackets are still up within the air. of course the expiring tax cuts won’t go into effect until 2011 but the pending improve in taxes for long term capital gains and dividends could mean you might take advantage of some year end tax moves such as loss harvesting and wash sales.

Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
