Intel unveiled the first tablets to emerge for its mobile clinical assistant (MCA) platform.C5_use03 The Motion Computing C5 is designed to reduce medical errors by allowing nurses to wirelessly upload a patient's vital scans on location rather than transcribe the data and manually upload it later.

The first C5 tablets are currently being tested at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center. Jump for a video of the C5's formal introduction and a shot of the device in action.
