Now, before we go crying foul, remember that they did the exact same thing with Windows Vista, pushing the consumer release date back from late 2006 to early 2007.
If you look at it that way, this isn't so much a setback as it is a landmark event. The Mac community is making progress: After years of living as second-class citizens in the eyes of Microsoft, the folks up in Redmond are finally treating the Mac faithful just like they treat Windows users.
