Whether you dream or think of ideas during office hours, the problem is remembering and taking notes of our ideas and thoughts. Although we all think we have good memories, keeping track of our ideas isn't always easy.

Corel WordPerfect Lightning is a tool that will enable you to collect information, notes, documents and share these with other users. It's a slightly confusing application as it seems to promoted as a standalone application, but it works more effectively in combination with WordPerfect Office X3. For instance, you can't write a document, only a note, without Office X3 installed. Still, it's a completely free product during beta-testing stage, so might be worth evaluating.
