Replace Notepad with EditPad Lite 6.3

  • Tweet this

Screengrab There are times where Notepad can be useful. For instance, stripping text styles from documents you might want to post to a website. However, Notepad is rather limited and is only good for drafting basic text. You wouldn't want to use it seriously. Rather than moving across to a word processor, such as Microsoft Word, a better option would be something between the two, such as a more advanced text editor.

EditPad Lite 6.3 is the free version of the text and basic word processor, that supports a number of features such as tabbed editing, so you can open and manage multiple documents. There is multiple undo and redo, so you can quickly make changes to text you've created. If you're often working with text documents, you can minimise EditPad to your system tray, so you have quick-access to the editor.
