Panda have managed to release the first major update to their complete security suite, stealing a march on their competitors. As a suite of security software, it contains protection against spyware, virus, Trojan horse attack as well as malicious software.

Panda Internet Security 2008 also protects you from the threat of other online fraud too. Certain emails are designed to lure you in to revealing confidential details such as bank details as they appear to be legitimate emails. Failing to stop such emails could be very costly.

The latest version has what Panda describes as ‘MegaDetection’ which is supposed to offer the highest protection against online threats. Other new features include online backup, which includes 1GB worth of online storage for an entire year (or the length of your virus definition subscription).
