Buy Acronis True Image 11, get Disk Director Suite 10 for free?

Screenshot_2We've mentioned that software isn't generally the first thing on most people's minds and this time of the year, which is why various developers are giving discounts to encourage you to buy. This means if you are seeking software, it's actually a very good time to buy. So much so, we've noticed something rather bizarre. It seems that you might be able to get Acronis Disk Director Suite 10 for free (gratis!) and a massive discount from the price of Acronis True Image 11.

How? Click on this Acropack 2008 link (Acronis True Image 11 and Disk Director Suite 10 bundle) within Firefox (and only Firefox) and click on orange 'Buy Now' link which states $79.99. Next, enter the coupon code ATI11Xmas and the price should reduce. Try and close the tab and you'll be offered a further 10% discount, which means you get Acronis True Image 11 for £19.81 ($40) rather than £42 ($79.99) and you get Disk Director Suite 10 for free. Of course, let us know if and when this offer goes down, as it's clearly a mistake.

<p>Just remember you have to allow popups... if it doesn't work straight away, go to Tools/Options/Content and untick the Block Popup Windows box. You may also have a popup blocker on one or more toolbars, so you may have to search around. Then go through the process again and the discount should be applied... worked for me!</p>
