Although your bookmarks are convenient, if you have a large number of bookmarks, in various sub-folders, finding the correct bookmark isn't always so easy. Opera has a neat feature which enables you to set up a speed dial function, so when you open a new tab, you're presented with a number of your favourite websites, as mini images, which enables you to quickly click on an image an open within your browser.

Fast Dial 1.89 is a free add-on for Firefox 2 and Firefox 3 that enables you to add a speed dial option to the browser. You can configure each tab to open up with a particular number of pre-set web pages and quickly jump to the site when you click on an image. It works well and it's a worthwhile addition to your browsing experience.
