If you own an Intel Mac, you can run Bootcamp on a partition or external drive and use both Windows and Mac on the same computer. Mac OS X enables you to read from your NTFS partition, but Windows won't allow you to access your Mac drive. Sharing data might prove tricky. Connecting a Mac-formatted iPod will mean you can't access the contents and any Mac-formatted external or removable drive will be inaccessible.
MacDrive 7.2 is software that enables you to both read and write to your Mac drives, whether this is your internal drive, a Mac partition, your Mac iPod or other external drive. Indeed, with MacDrive installed, you'll often forget you've even connected a Mac-formatted drive. This means that if you use your Mac to manage your iPod, but want to use the iPod in 'disk mode', you can format it on your Mac, move across files and then still read/write from Windows.
