Automatically update your local calendar by using Google Calendar

  • Tweet this
junky-googlecalendar.gifIf you use a local calendar such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Sunbird or iCal on OS X, then you'll know it's an ideal tool for monitoring your tasks and forthcoming events, whilst also sharing the information with other users. However, unless you use a third-party synchronisation tool, it was never easy to publish your calendar online and then keep both updated. However, the latest version of the online Google Calendar now supports CalDav support, which means that you can now automate how your calendar appears locally and remotely, without a third-party interface.

Google Calendar
is part of an online suite of tools from Google that enable you to edit and publish work information online.
