junky-smartftp.gifAlthough everyone uses a web browser to access the Internet and download files, you ought to have an FTP client installed as you can download multiple applications from FTP sites, resume paused downloads and go back and download again if a download fails. Even better, an FTP client can be used to upload files to your homepage or any remote server. However, you need an FTP client and there have been three updates to popular clients this week.

Wise-FTP 3 is a full commercial download which we made available recently. Another popular choice is SmartFTP 3.0.1021.5, which is free for non-commercial use now shareware. CoreFTP LE 2.1 is another free FTP client, whilst WinSCP 4.1.6 is popular.
