Search for documents across multiple drives with Copernic

  • Tweet this
copernic-grab.gifThe size of internal, external and portable hard drives is increasing rapidly, yet we still find a use for all that space. We store more information on our PCs than ever, especially when it comes to media formats, such as MP3. Its useful and convenient being able to store everything we want but it can become tricky when looking for a specific document on a large drive, or across multiple external drives. Searching across numerous drives with Windows can be arduous.

Copernic Desktop 3
enables users to compile and maintain a database of all files stored across multiple drives. It works in the background updating the database, so when you need a document, the search is performed as quickly as possible. The latest version, whilst searching for a document will show an advertisement asking you to upgrade, which you may need to do to perform network drive searches.
