We all know that if we use our system for any length of time it becomes cluttered with temporary files, files that are stored when you download to your computer and entries within your Registry that leave your system more bloated than necessary. There are many commercial tuning and tweaking tools and some of these are superb. Two good examples are TuneUp Utilities 2009 and System Mechanic 8, which is due to get 64-bit support soon. However, one advantage of using freeware is that updates are always free and they are released very regularly.28 Nov 2008
