Write to your Bootcamp partition using Paragon NTFS for Mac

  • Tweet this
junky-paragonntfs.jpgBuy a Mac and you can setup a Windows partition and either choose to boot in to Windows or OS X. However, you can see and read your Windows partition within Mac, which means you can move across files from your Windows to Mac partition. You might ask yourself, what's the point in duplicating files? The snag is the OS X can't write to an NTFS Windows partition, without third-party software (don't forget that Windows can neither read, understand or write to your OS X partition, unless you use CrossMac).

Paragon NTFS for Mac 6.5 isn't a tool. It's a simple and basic plugin for OS X that enables you to read, write and use your Windows partition (or any external NTFS-formatted drive) within OS X, as if it was a standard Mac partition. This means you can write files directly to your Windows drive and vice-versa.
