Hardly anyone bothers to set up one desktop computer with a multi-user configuration for every family member. What's the point? You'll want the same software accessible for every user and most kids tend to use a web browser to access email, contact their friends or simply to surf the web. Problem is that we often forget that we might not want other users to see the websites we've been visiting, the images we've viewed on the computer or the temporary files stored on the PC. Not necessarily as we're doing something wrong, but we might be using the computer to search for a surprise holiday for the wife's birthday.24 Jan 2009
