Despite using Windows computers to produce our online content, we use an Apple Time Capsule in this small office, serving a few machines. It suits various purposes. This will be ideal for users who are on the road with their laptop but require files stored on the office hard drive.

NoSleepHD 1.0 is a free tool that does one thing: it will stop your network or external drive from powering down, so you don't have to keep waiting for the drive to power up every time you want to write a file. All it does is write a temporary file to the drive every few minutes (user configurable) and can be turned off when required, or when you power down your PC.
