Synchronise your IE, Firefox and Safari bookmarks using Foxmarks

  • Tweet this
foxmarks-grab.gifWe like to access the same bookmarks whether we're at home, work or using our laptop on the road. However, there are big problems with keeping the same bookmarks across each browser. Up until fairly recently, it was bad enough keeping the same bookmarks between the same browser (say, Firefox) across two computers. This was fixed with Google Browser Sync, then later Mozilla Weave and now Foxmarks. It was still impossible to add a bookmark to Firefox at home and then make sure that same bookmark was synchronised to your work IE-based PC.

Foxmarks for Internet Explorer 0.9.85
is an add-on that enables you to have your Internet Explorer bookmarks on any computer with the same browser (ie. work, home, laptop) or, even better between different browsers (ie. Firefox to IE or IE to Firefox). Simply install, login and then your bookmarks will be synchronised to the browser. Add a bookmark at home, go to work and find the same bookmark is available.
