Go out and buy a brand new hard drive and it's going to be huge. No doubt it ships with one large partition and you'll want to re-configure as smaller partitions, perhaps one to host your media and another for your work. Partitioning within Windows isn't easy and, up until recently, there weren't too many options available. It was commercial software or nothing and, as you only partition your drive every few years, an expensive purchase is probably out of the question, particularly for home users.31 Mar 2009
