deskdrive-grab.gifHaving a selection of storage devices at your disposal has numerous plus points but can make it difficult when trying to identify which letter is assigned to each drive. Most people tend to use the Windows Explorer took identify connected storage devices, but wouldn't it be easier if Windows created a desktop shortcut? By creating a shortcut this would enable you quickly find and connect to drives, then safely remove the drive when you've finished using it.

Desk drive 1.7.2 makes connecting to assigned drives easier by adding a temporary drive shortcut to your desktop. You can use the application to monitor specified drives, linking you directly to Flash drives and ignoring others depending on your settings.
