Download and install software from one pack using Smart Installer

junky-smartinstaller.gifWhen you wipe your drive and re-install Windows, you often have to wait an hour for the install to finish. At least you can leave it running and come back to the installer from time to time. The worse part is when you have to find all your most important applications and re-install from scratch. This can take ages and most of the smaller free files need to be downloaded from the Internet before you can even install. A better idea one be to download a package of free software and install from this, rather than have to find and download the individual files.

Smart Installer Pack 1.0
is such a solution. The developers have used some of the more popular free apps such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Firefox and Adobe Reader, then packaged them up in to one convenient installer, so you can download and get them on your system ASAP. The only downside is that British users won't get the British-language version of some of the free apps included within the package.
