Automatically update installed applications with UpdateStar

updatestar-grab.gifThose of us who use a computer on a daily basis tend to have a selection of freeware or shareware applications that we use regularly, some of which are updated fairly often, monthly or sometimes even weekly. These 'updates' may not be major, but they make applications more stable. If you don't regularly visit download sites or software publisher's sites, it may be more difficult to recognise newer versions of installed software. A useful and convenient way of keeping software updated is to use an auto-update tool, so you don't have to check manually.

UpdateStar 4.6.960
is an auto-update tool that enables you to find updates for any applications installed on your PC. At the moment, it's not likely to find updates for all the software installed on your machine, but this will improve with the release of newer versions of the software.
