For those of us in the UK, all analogue television broadcasts will be switched off by 2012 and be superseded by an array of new, high definition services. Gradually though, many f us are beginning to use their computers to access new and more interesting programs. Why not use your PC to play to tune in and play MPEG-2 video streams? You could even record them to your hard drive and watch them at a later date.

ProgDVB 6.12.1 is a freeware application that enables you to record programs, display full screen TV and even decode HD streams. Although it's a good tool for watching satellite and streaming TV on your PC, setup can be confusing for newcomers.
