Maintain an organised iTunes library with TuneUp

tuneupicon.gifMost new computers now ship the hard drives large enough to accommodate even the largest music libraries. Although this is massively convenient for keeping all your files in one place, it can cause confusion when trying to keep them organised. Not all music is extracted from audio CDs, and you may have MP3s and other audio files sourced from online music stores or download sites, and even some old records you have recorded. Once you have all these files on your computer it gets more and more difficult to keep them organised and most libraries have misspelt titles, missing artwork and other discrepancies.

TuneUp 1.6.4 is a plug-in designed to work with iTunes that helps users maintain an organised audio library. The application sits to the right of the standard iTunes interface and can be used to find missing artwork and identify incorrect track names via the Gracenote database, all of which can be done in batches to save time.
